I asked Rach to make a file for us and I decorated it for a Halloween treat bag. It is a cool little bag and I will be making more to put goodies in for my grandkids. Go to Rachell's site for the file!

By the way, I used a new technique that Beanie taught me about. I used Crayola colored pencils with mineral spirits to do the coloring instead of my Copics. If you don't have mineral spirits, you can use mineral oil like Rach does. I loved it better than Copics and it is a lot!!!!!! cheaper. I won't be buying anymore Copics. Yeah!!!!!!!!!! I will be saving some money. Thanks Beanie.

Halloween Tile for the Fall/Halloween Crop for Black Cat USA

I can't wait for my sister to see this. She will want it for her office lol.

I hope you all will try making a tile, any size, in a Fall or Halloween theme. Please post it if you do so we can see your creation.

The 12 X 12 tile I bought at Lowes was between $1.50 and $2.00.

I layered my vinyl but you would not have to. Have fun with it!

Teacher Gifts

I cut vinyl out and put it on this $1 cup from the dollar store. I bought a plant to put in it to give the teacher I share a room with to put on her cabinet or desk.

Here is also a small card with an envie to use as a teacher "thank-you" or a student "you're special".
You can slip it into the envie and you're are done. They make up quickly.

Wedding Mat for the Invitation

The son of a friend is getting married soon and she asked me to do something with the invitation. I am going to use this mat and put the invitation on it. Then I plan to put it in a frame. She wants to set it on the table at the shower and reception. When I get it all finished I will post another pic but for now I thought I'd share the mat.

MTC Crop Challenge for National Scrapbook Month

Hi Everyone, I have provided a file for the 6" X 8" recipe card, and a file for the apron card. Print and Cut my 6" X 8" recipe card for yourself and take the template and change it up with your own embellishments, colors, fonts, whatever you like and repost here so that we can all share them. Notice the name on mine is a recipe using MTC, however, yours doesn't need to be that way. When you post yours then we all can print and cut them and make a recipe book out of them. Same with the smaller recipe cards (I just resized and added lines etc) and the apron card. (I typed the recipe up in Word, used the snipping tool to capture it, put it into MTC and aligned it where I wanted it.)

My challenge offers you a way to win $5.00 worth of Digi Web Studio files. Just become a follower, leave a comment, and include a way to contact you. Goodluck!

Wedding Shower Invitation ( Kitchen Theme)

My boss called yesterday and wanted me to design an invitation for her soon to be daughter-in-law's shower. She wanted to do a kitchen gadget shower so this is what I came up with. The crock is the card base and the utensils are sandwiched between the front of the card and the card base. I sent her the pic and she is thrilled. Yeah! Now I need to make 24 more lol.

Whew! Had a great time Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but was wiped out. I need to start preparing in January for next year. The kids were all good and we enjoyed watching them open their presents. My 2 grandsons were told by grandpa that they were going to get a toaster and they didn't believe him. He wrapped up a hot dog toaster for both of them and when they opened it and saw the box they still did not believe that was what it was and when they opened the box they both said together, It Is A Toaster. It was hilarious.
